Join us for "Our Words Our City," the DMV region's premier youth poetry showcase! This event will feature heartfelt original spoken-word performances by DC SCORES poet-athletes. The evening will also include the presentation of the 2024 Poet-Athlete Awards, with honors going to bestselling author Jason Reynolds and Ward 4 Councilmember and DC SCORES alumna, Janeese Lewis George.

Kiwanis Club members will play a crucial role, assisting with check-in, ushering, and other event-related tasks. Even if you cannot commit to the full 4-hour shift, your participation is invaluable.
