Join the Kiwanis Club of Washington, D.C., for a meaningful day of service with Loaves and Fishes as we support their mission to provide healthy meals to those in need.

Kiwanis members will serve as kitchen staff and servers, preparing and serving meals to approximately 200 guests. Volunteers will ensure all individuals are treated with dignity and care, creating a welcoming environment that offers more than just a meal—it offers connection and support.

Founded in the 1960s, Loaves and Fishes operates as an outreach of St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church and is sustained by partnerships with 11 other churches, foundations, and community groups. Their mission is to combat hunger and homelessness by providing healthy meals and educating the community about these critical issues. Loaves and Fishes offers meals on weekends when other free meal programs are unavailable, serving as a lifeline for those in need.

Kiwanis has a long-standing relationship with Loaves and Fishes, partnering on past food service initiatives and continuing to support their critical work in the D.C. area.
